Graduate Assistantships

Number: Varies depending on the program.
Amount: Tuition remission for up to 30 credit hours per academic year and $5,000 annual stipend.

Initial Award Criteria:

  • Admitted student.
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Applicants must apply and are chosen by program supervisor based on academic qualification, experience, and professional goals

Renewal Criteria:

  • These awards are given for one year only but can be renewed each year if the student remains in good academic standing
  • Applicants must apply for International Fellowships and are chosen by a review committee based on academic qualification, experience, and professional goals.
  • Students must maintain full time enrollment each semester.
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Conditions:

  • Academic year only.
  • Students must be in status with USCIS for F-1 or J-1.
  • Awards may be extended for additional time to degree associated with change of program.
  • Students will be required to work 20 hours per week in exchange for tuition remission and stipend.
