International Graduate Fellowships

Number: Six (subject to availability)
Amount: Tuition Remission for up to 30 credit hours per academic year and $6,500 annual stipend.

Initial Award Criteria:

  • Admitted Student
  • International Student –Issued an I-20 or DS-2019 by Frostburg State University.
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Applicants must apply for International Fellowships and are chosen by a review committee based on academic qualification, experience, and professional goals.

Renewal Criteria:

  • Typically awarded for the expected time to degree as long as the student remains in good academic standing in their chosen program. (3.0 GPA)
  • Students must maintain full time enrollment each semester.
  • Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Conditions:

  • Academic year only.
  • Students must be in status with USCIS for F-1 or J-1.
  • Awards may be extended for additional time to degree associated with change of program.
  • Students will be required to work 20 hours per week in exchange for tuition remission and stipend.
