International Student Grant

Number: unlimited.
Amount: $800 per year

Initial Award Criteria:

  • Admitted student
  • International student—Issued an I-20 or DS-2019 by Frostburg State University.

Renewal Criteria:

  • Normally, up to two years, or the expected time to degree completion.
  • Maintain cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0.
  • Maintain full time enrollment for each semester

Conditions:

  • These awards are for academic year only.
  • Students must be in status with USCIS for F-1 or J-1 visa.
  • Awards may be extended for additional time to degree associated with change of program.
  • Students attending FSU on exchange programs are not eligible as tuition and fees are paid at home institutions.
  • Students attending FSU on scholarships from external agencies, or if awarded an International Fellowship or Graduate Assistantship at FSU may have awards reduced as appropriate.
